MESSAGE FROM APOSTLE
Praise the Lord, I pray each of you is having an amazing day in the Lord! The Holy Spirit has unctioned me to call a corporate time of consecration for the local assembly from Tuesday, May 14 2024 at 12:00 Noon thru Sunday, May 19, 2024 at 12:00 Noon. This set time of fasting has been called for us to end the year realigning ourselves with the Will of God. Forgetting those things that are behind us and pressing forward to what lies ahead. The theme for this consecration is “A Fresh Wind.... Restored & Refueled"
During these 5 days let’s be intentional about praying, reading, and studying the Word. “Less of me and more of You God” should be our declaration. See below for more details on how to connect corporately.
Please consult your personal health needs and confer with your physician regarding the fast. You may need to modify based on their guidance. Most importantly, earnestly seek God's guidance.
Lastly, remember some things only come through prayer and fasting~ Mark 9:29.

FASTING NOTES
WHAT IS SPIRITUAL FASTING
Spiritual fasting is an act of humbling ourselves before God. We choose to do so sacrificing our natural appetite by willingly exchanging our physical comforts to seek Him.
RESULTS OF SPIRITUAL FASTING
Fasting can result in a great move of God in the call for healing, revival and spiritual awakening.
SCRIPTURES PRINCIPLES FOR SPIRITUAL FASTING
Joel 2, Isaiah 58:1-6, Daniel 1, Matthew 6:17-18Fasting is a biblical discipline of abstaining from food and excessive activity for spiritual purposes. In Isaiah 58:1-6 the purpose of Spiritual Fasting is clearly seen.
THE PURPOSE OF SPIRITUAL FASTING
· To prepare us for what God has called us to do.· To conform us to the purpose and the image of God.· To separate us from the influence of the world and the carnal man.· To hear God without negative outside influence.· To spiritually detox our spirit, mind and body of worldly pleasures.· To equip us for the battle we wage against satan.
WHAT SPIRITUAL FASTING IS NOT INTENDED TO DO:
· Fasting is not intended to persuade God to change His mind. (Fasting helps us conform to God and not God conform to what we want).· Fasting will not make you more acceptable in God’s eye.· Fasting is not a command in Scripture. It is a Scriptural principle that yields spiritual results for those who exercise it through faith.· Fasting is not a diet plan to lose weight. Remember, the focus and result of scriptural fasting is spiritual and not natural.
THE CONCEPT OF THE DANIEL FAST
Scripture Reference: Daniel 1:8-14, Daniel 10:1-3The Daniel fast is an intentional discipline of suspending enjoyment through food taste or cravings. It is eating a small amount of plainly prepared food at designated times. It is an act of practicing the Daniel principles of “no pleasing bread”.
